Kate Levine, LMHC

As a therapist, I strive to create an environment that invites exploration without fear of judgment. We all struggle, but the choice to face suffering and experience vulnerability is where our innate strength and capacity to thrive emerge. I work from a relational perspective and believe that being truly seen, heard, and respected, especially in our messiness and darkness, can unlock new space for connection and fulfillment.

I tailor treatment to meet individual goals and to best facilitate a person’s or couple’s innate ability to heal, drawing from different therapies and theories such as person-centered, acceptance and commitment, internal family systems, existential, psychodynamic, and feminist/multicultural. I have primarily worked with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, interpersonal struggles, body negativity, and trauma, as well as identity development, sex, sexuality, gender, and relationship dynamics.

About me: I use she/her pronouns. I’m a white, cisgender, able-bodied person, and I work to stay engaged with the ways these identities show up in therapy.
