ABOUT ME
As a therapist, I strive to create an environment that is conducive to exploration without fear of judgment. We’re often isolated in our hurt, and more so when shame is present. The experience of struggle is something we all face, but the choice to face it and exist with our vulnerability is where our innate strength and capacity to thrive emerges.

I’m a white, cisgender, able-bodied person, and I work to stay engaged with the ways these identities show up in therapy. I have primarily worked with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, interpersonal struggles, body negativity, and trauma, as well as wellness, identity development, sexuality, gender, and relationship dynamics.

I tailor treatment to meet individual goals and to best facilitate a person’s or couple’s innate ability to heal, drawing from different therapies and theories, including person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, internal family systems, existential, mindfulness, and feminist/multicultural.
